Here's a short self hypnosis, to help us manage pain and discomfort. Pain is interesting and multi-faceted – it's memory, imagination, thoughts, emotions, & neurological networking within the brain and nervous system. Taking time to meditate and get to know your relationship with pain can be useful, as affecting our heart rate via relaxation and breathing actually directly and positively affects the autonomic nervous system.
